Information about the Tattooing Process

During tattooing, ink is introduced into the skin by using different needle configurations to puncture the top layer of skin with a tattoo machine, injecting the liquid-dissolved pigment. We use sterile, single-use needles for this purpose. The ink used is portioned into small disposable plastic caps before the tattooing begins, which are then discarded. During the tattooing process, varying levels of pain may be felt, and afterwards, a moderate wound pain, similar to that of a scrape, may persist for hours. It is common for blood or fluid to ooze from the wound during and after the tattooing. Swelling is also possible. Over the healing period, scabs may form on the tattooed areas.

For the finished tattoo, it is possible that unusually strong color changes (e.g., lightening) may occur during the healing process or over the following years, often due to sun exposure. In most cases, this can be corrected by reapplying ink ("touch-ups"). Some individuals are prone to increased scarring, which may cause the tattoo (or parts of it) to feel slightly raised either temporarily or permanently.

It is important to be aware from the beginning that tattoos (like the skin itself) age, colors fade, and the skin's aging process can lead to shifts in pigments (fine lines may enlarge). Since the skin is very thin in some areas, there is a higher risk of the lines bleeding out ("blow out"). This typically occurs on the wrist, ribcage, inner arm, or foot. However, this also depends on the quality of the tattoo artist and how technically proficient they are. Even the best tattoo artist in the world is only human, so small individual mistakes can never be completely ruled out.

So keep in mind:

The clearer and simpler a design is, the longer it will retain its original sharpness and impact.

Consent Declaration

If you do not agree with the following points, you cannot be tattooed by me. By checking the box on your tattoo request form, you agree to these conditions.

  • I wish to be tattooed by the tattoo artist Dardani (Dardan Kqiku). As evidenced by the identification document or passport I have presented, I have reached the age of 18.

  • I assure that I am not under the influence of intoxicants (drugs, alcohol, medications, etc.) at the time of the tattooing. There are no other reasons that impair my natural insight and control ability.

  • I also agree, in accordance with §266a of the German Criminal Code (StGB), that the tattoo artist performs a procedure on my body. I have been informed that this procedure will cause injury to my body. This consent declaration removes the illegality of §§223, 223a, 224 StGB.

  • I have been verbally informed and informed via the website about possible complications and health risks that the tattoo may cause, as well as the necessary aftercare. I understand that the executing artist does not perform any medical activities. I had sufficient time to consider my decision. By checking the box on the tattoo request, I give my consent to the intended procedure, including the necessary pre- and post-examinations. In light of possible complications, I expressly waive any claims for damages, as well as legal claims that I or my relatives may have against Dardani Tattoo (owner Dardan Kqiku) and/or employed persons there and/or independent tattoo artists.

  • I hereby grant Dardani Tattoo (owner Dardan Kqiku) permission to use the photos taken of me for any advertising purposes. No further agreement regarding the use is intended (according to §22 of the German Copyright Act (KUG)).

  • If the aftercare instructions are not followed, complications may occur at the tattooed area. If this happens, please contact us immediately. We will advise you whether a doctor's visit is necessary in the worst case. Any aftercare that may be required due to my own negligence will be carried out at my own expense. I acknowledge that all persons representing Dardani Tattoo (owner Dardan Kqiku) assume no responsibility for the consequences of any negligence on my part. I expressly waive any claims for damages, as well as legal claims that I or my relatives may have.

  • I am aware that the tattoos may differ in color and style from the template, as skin texture and pigmentation can cause changes. Additionally, a tattoo is an artistic design and can be influenced by the tattooing style.
